He will drive to Tim Hortons, which is some sort of fast food restaurant in Canada, near his home. When he drives towards Tim Hortons, he usually turns on the FM radio in his car. The sound is great. There is essentially no static. The FM radio technology has become some sort of well-established technology for many years. In this article, the author will talk about the saga of the birth of this wonderful technology. The evolution of this technology since its birth in the 1930s up to now will be discussed. The invention of Internet and World Wide Web near the end of the 20th century has great impact on the world. In this article, the author will also discuss Internet FM radio technology.
On 18th September 1931 (Friday), the Kwantung Army of Japan deliberately detonated a small quantity of dynamite close to the railway line owned by Japan’s South Manchuria Railway near Mukden. (Note: Mukden is currently known as Shenyang, which is the provincial capital of the Liaoning Province, People’s Republic of China.) Subsequently, Japan used this incident as an excuse to occupy the whole of Manchuria. (Note: Manchuria is as big as Germany, France and Italy added together.) In fact, this was the beginning of the Sino-Japanese War from 1931 to 1945.
